 Laurian Vega is a graduate student in Computer Science studying Human-Computer Interaction. During the day you can find her studying the role of trust in technology, TAing CS 2605, helping plan the up-coming Women in Computing Day, and being the web master for the ADVANCE program. During the night you can probably find her doing the same thing! Laurian is also the Computer Science Graduate Council President and active in helping to diversify engineering. This summer you will be able to find Laurian out in San Jose, California completing an internship at IBM Almaden. When asked what motivates her, Laurian likes to say, "I try to take it one day at at a time, but sometimes multiple days attack me at once."
