Watson Chairs HPC Conference |

 | Layne Watson, a professor in the computer science and mathematics departments, has been appointed General Chair for the 2007 High Performance Computing Symposium , part of the Spring Simulation Multiconference to be held March 25-29, 2007 in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Watson was also General Chair of the 2006 HPCS, held last April in Huntsville, Alabama. Virginia Tech will be well represented at the 2007 HPCS, as Cliff Shaffer, an associate professor in computer science, will be a Program Chair for the upcoming 2007 HPCS. |
