The Association for Women in Computing held its first Texas Hold'em Poker Night with great success.  With about forty attendees, delicious baked goods, and pasta for poker chips everyone had a good time.  The lucky winners, Arya Afrashteh and Rob Hardy, won a twenty-five dollar and fifteen dollar gift cards to Game Stop.  Proceeds from the event will go towards sponsoring an AWC member to the Grace Hopper Conference for Women in Computing.  Thanks to everyone who came out and look forward to a second round of AWC poker coming soon.
