Ramu Anandakrishnan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Virginia Tech. He has a PhD in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, an MBA in finance from University of Maryland, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from ndian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. His research includes developing and applying computational methods for studying the structure, function and activity of biological molecules - proteins, DNA, RNA and complexes.

Ramu joined Virginia Tech to pursue a long standing interest in science, after a successful career in the IT industry, working for companies such as Accenture and Computer Sciences Corportation.
