How to prepare for a Career Fair
Tips from CSRC recruiters:
- Recruiters are impressed with students who have done their homework and know something about their company. One of the top complaints from recruiters is a student who walks up and says "What does your company do?"
- Dress appropriately.
- Have plenty of copies of your resume.
- Expect that companies may ask that you apply online. In some instances, you may have to apply online to be officially considered for an interview.
- Have someone else review your resume, preferably someone in Career Services or an advisor.
