CS major Brandon Amos will represent VT at the ACC Meeting of the Minds in April 2014

Congratulations Brandon Amos, on being selected to represent Virginia Tech at the ACC Meeting of the Minds,  a venue where undergraduates present their research and scholarship. Congratulations also to faculty mentor Layne Watson.  Brandon's project is entitled "FORTRAN 95 Implementation of QNSTOP for global and stochastic optimization".  

Brandon won Honorable Mention in the 2014 CRA Undergraduate Research Awards, working with Drs. Binoy Ravindran and Layne Watson.  This is a second recent research honor for Brandon.
