Dr. Mary Miller, named 2013 Distinguished Alumna, was recognized at the College of Engineering's commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18.  She had the honor of addressing the undergraduates at their commencement ceremonies.

Miller earned her MS degree in Computer Science at VT in 1985. She has served on both the CS@VT and COE Advisory Boards and is a member of the COE Committee of 100. Recently, she was inducted into the COE Academy of Engineering Excellence. She is active in the community as an entrepreneur and past president of the NewVa Corridor Technology Council, now called the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council (RTBC).  Read more about this award.
