CS students inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

On Thursday, May 10, Virginia Tech's Mu Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa held its Spring 2012 initation ceremony in McBryde 100.  According to its official web site, PBK was founded at the College of William and Mary in 1776 and is the nation's oldest and most widely known academic honor society.  Among the Spring 2012 initiates were five Computer Science majors: Daniel Breakiron, William Gomez, Robert Kania, Robert Lyerly, John McElmurray.  William Gomez and John McElmurray were unable to attend the initiation ceremony.  For more pictures of the event, please see our slide show:
