J.D. Young holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech (Class of 1982). Following graduation he took a position with Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas designing and implementing embedded real-time applications. In 1986, Mr. Young shifted to a career selling high-tech solutions for Hewlett Packard and Oracle Corporation, among others. Since his retirement from Oracle in 1996, Mr. Young has been active nurturing and investing in small, growing companies in and around the Dallas area where he makes his home.
