Mr. Jani is an experienced technology executive with over 15 years of experience in software engineering and development.  He has been involved with creating multiple successful start-ups providing him a wide spectrum of experience in both operational and senior management roles.

 

In 1989, Ali was co-founder of Accel, Inc., playing an instrumental role in the rapid growth and sale o the $35 million company.  Accel's growth and success was highly attributed to the software solutions developed by Mr. Jani co-founded iCode software and pioneered the development of digital video interactive (DVI) based applications built on Intel's DVI program.  Mr. Jani successfully delivered the first commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solution using the technology.  In 1994, Ali co-founded Everest Software.  At Everest Software, Ali successfully raised multiple rounds of venture capital and developed several commercial business management solutions on multiple platforms and delivery models.  As CTO of Everest Software, Mr. Jani is still responsible for the technical, product and related business direction of the company.  Mr. Jani also serves as a board member.

 

Ali graduated from Virginia Tech with two Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
